Whenever I go back to re-read the “Eggman’s Dozen” arc in Sonic Universe, Maw is always one of my favorite Egg Bosses to follow. Suave, polite, yet utterly sadistic towards his flunkies when new ’product testing’ is needed. I think the sharp teeth you gave his mechanical muzzle really accentuate that; makes him feel like he can be either refined or a monster depending on the scenario.


It’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of him in Archie Sonic, I would have loved to know why he trusts Eggman’s vision for the world more than GUN or King Acorn.
